Travel Grant Assistance for Students and Trainees

Full-time students, residents, and fellows will continue to enjoy a discounted registration fee to attend the MAD-ID and SIDP 2026 Annual Meeting.

A limited number of $500 travel grants and reimbursed registration are available for full-time students, residents, or fellows who have an original research abstract accepted.

The requirements to be considered for a travel grant are as follows:

  1. Register for the meeting (this registration fee will be reimbursed to you after the meeting if you are awarded a travel grant via ACH payment)
  2. Be a member of MAD-ID or SIDP
  3. Submit a completed, original abstract by the March 6th deadline (research in progress and encore abstracts are not eligible for a travel grant)
  4. Applicant must be in a full-time training program (residency or fellowship) or a full-time student
  5. Applicant must be the first author and must present the poster in-person during one of the poster sessions
  6. Applicant must agree to attend the entire meeting, in-person, from Thursday, May 14th at 4:00 pm to Sunday, May 17th at 12:30 pm
  7. Applicant must book their hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Orlando (MAD-ID and SIDP 2026 Annual Meeting Headquarters hotel) for May 14-16 (three nights at a minimum)
  8. Applicant must reside and travel more than 100 miles one-way from Orlando, FL.

Note(s):
Travel grants are limited. We make every effort to support as many people as possible for this meeting. If your institution readily funds trainee travel, we would greatly appreciate you letting us know that we should remove your abstract from grant consideration so that the funds can be used for MAD-ID and SIDP members who do not otherwise have travel support.

Should you have any questions regarding the abstract submission process, please contact Emily Milliot at 203-223-3201 or emilliot@agcomm.com, or Carolyn Browning at 203-240-1633 or cbrowning@agcomm.com.
