MAD-ID and SIDP 2026 Annual Meeting
May 14-17, 2026, Hyatt Regency Orlando, Florida
Target Audience: Pharmacists, physicians, nurses, board-certified infectious diseases pharmacists (BCIDP), and other providers seeking to apply recent research to patient care and antimicrobial stewardship.
Overall Conference Learning Objectives:
- Identify emerging antimicrobial stewardship priorities and challenges.
- Explain developments in antibiotics and diagnostics for common infectious diseases.
- Apply recent research to patient care and antimicrobial stewardship
Accreditation:Learners can claim Continuing Education credit via activity evaluation within 30 days of the meeting. Learners are required to complete the General Evaluation and session-specific evaluations. All evaluations will close on June 17, 2026 after which MAD-ID will upload credits for pharmacy learners to CE Monitor (NABP) and issue certificates via email. Pharmacists must provide their DOB (mm/dd) and NABP EPID number to claim pharmacy credit. CE Statements of Credit for non-pharmacists and for non-US licensed pharmacists, if requested via the evaluation form, will be provided via email within 4 weeks of the CE deadline. If you attend classroom sessions, you must have your badge scanned by the meeting planner during the sessions. This will record your attendance and grant you access to the evaluation to claim CE. If you do not sign in (for workshops) or get your badge scanned (for classrooms), you will not be able to submit for CE credit.

This live CE activity is approved for a maximum of 22.75 contact hours (2.275 CEUs) in states that recognize ACPE providers. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
CPE Credit will be awarded at the session level based on completion of online session evaluations by the 30-day deadline. CPE credits will be reported to the CPE Monitor/NABP e-Profile system online within four weeks after the MAD-ID Program Evaluation/CE Credit Claim website closes. To learn more about CPE Monitor and establish your NABP e-Profile, visit www.nabp.pharmacy. Per ACPE requirements, CPE credit must be posted within 60 days of being earned. Participants are responsible for verifying credits were transferred successfully to your NABP eProfile account before the ACPE 60-day deadline. After the 60 day deadline, MAD-ID will no longer be able to report your credit(s) for this activity.

The Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) is approved by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) as a provider of board certified infectious diseases pharmacist (BCIDP) credit. A BCIDP statement of credit will be issued online upon successful completion of a post-test and online evaluation. No partial credit will be given. Credit must be claimed within 60 days of being earned. Participants are responsible for verifying credits were transferred successfully. After the 60-day deadline, SIDP will no longer be able to report your credit for this activity.

MAD-ID Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship Training Program (AASP)

Those participating should register for the program and pay the program fee at the same time they register for the Annual Meeting. If you have questions, please contact us at

Program Requirements
To meet AASP program requirements, participants must:
1. Attend a minimum of 8 CE hours from among the sessions designated as “AASP” on the agenda.
2. Complete an online quiz after the meeting for each AASP session you attended, achieving a score of 80% correct or better. Quizzes will be available online at our training website: http://mad-idtraining.org/certification/
3. Complete a practical component at the applicant’s site within 12 months of the Annual Meeting.
Practical Component
Session quizzes must be completed prior to project initiation. For the practical component, participants must develop, implement and document a stewardship initiative at their place of practice to demonstrate a real-world, clinical application of the material presented in the sessions within 12 months of the Annual Meeting. Practical Component Learning Objectives:
At the completion of the Practical Component, the participant will be able to:
• Identify an opportunity at your institution that would improve the use of antimicrobials
• Develop a research plan or protocol for the project
• Obtain appropriate reviews and/or approvals if needed
• Collect and evaluate data for the project
• Assess project results and present them in a written summary of the project
Upon successful completion of program requirements, a Certificate of Completion will be issued to the participant as verification that they have completed the certificate program training course.
AASP Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) for AASP
Making a Difference in Infectious Diseases (MAD-ID) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
Certificate Program Number: 0485-26-001-CP. Release date: May 17, 2025; Expiration date: May 17, 2028.
The live CE at the annual meeting is approved for a maximum of 18 contact hours (1.8 CEUs) in states that recognize ACPE providers. To be eligible to earn a certificate of completion for AASP, participants must attend a minimum of 8 CE hours from among the sessions designated as “AASP” on the agenda and complete a quiz for each AASP session you attended. MAD-ID reports to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy via CPE Monitor. Continuing education credit will be awarded for all successfully completed live sessions regardless of whether the full Program is completed. UANs for the individual activity modules are listed in the Annual Meeting agenda and credit is to be claimed via the annual meeting evaluations. The Advanced Antibiotic Stewardship Program Practicum is approved for 6 contact hours (0.6 CEU) in states that recognize ACPE providers. Continuing Medical Education (CME) Accreditation is available as part of the annual meeting. To receive a certificate of completion for the didactic/live portion of the 2025 AASP, physicians must attend a minimum of 8 CE hours from among the sessions designated as “AASP” on the agenda and pass the online quizzes for each AASP session they attend. The practicum component does not offer CME credit.
